I am stronger than this. I deserve to be treated better than as a human punching bag for over a year. I deserve to be treated with respect and kindness. I deserve better than to be emotionally abused on a weekly basis by my (now) ex for over a year and a half out of the (nearly) 2 years that we were dating. I deserve someone who won’t use my triggers as an opportunity to hurt me more. I deserve to be cared about as a human being. I deserve better.
Good riddance, and goodnight.
MHC Queer Song by M&Cs
Tired of dicks and hairy asses?
Drop your boys, pick up your lasses
Toast to those who boast
of mixing milk and cookies
with a little nookie
Smith, they like ‘em butch and thirty
We prefer them down and dirty
Pick a chick and kick
your roommate out tonight
The clothes are on the bedroom floor
I’d rather be a dyke once more
We’re here, bring on the queer
Here’s a toast to old MHC!
Best Pope story yet?
Pope Francis has been sneaking out of the Vatican at night to serve the homeless.
The Pope for people who don’t like popes strikes again.
HE WAS ALSO A BOUNCER AT A NIGHTCLUB
Pope Francis has also shed the trappings of wealth that generally accompany his position (golden cape, ornate throne) in favor of white threads and a simple wooden chair. He’s also the first Pope to wash a woman’s feet, insisting that it’s what Jesus Christ would have done. Even if you’re not religious you can appreciate that this is a genuinely good man, and a wonderful leader of the Catholic Church.
I’m not Christian but I’ll never pass up an opportunity to reblog something about Pope Francis. I think he’s completely awesome. he actually does the things the pope SHOULD be doing, not wearing fucking golden sheets and sitting on a golden fucking throne. the man actually tries to live like Christ and that’s pretty amazing to me, since 99% of the Christians I’ve ever met don’t. four for you Pope Francis, you go Pope Francis.

Have you heard of Track Tolerance? It’s a new Tumblr out of Columbia’s journalism school keeping tabs on LGBT issues in New York City, and they’re doing some great work.
In the project linked above, the group asked the top 50 public high schools in New York City whether they have gender-neutral bathrooms available to students. Spoiler alert: Only one school is on file as having an all-gender bathroom, the Bard High School Early College II in Queens. Check out the interactive map above and see for yourself.
When calling the city’s top high schools, most seemed confused about what a gender neutral bathroom was. “The girls use the girls’ bathroom and the boys use the boys’ bathroom,” said a staff member from the Bronx’s Riverdale/Kingsbridge College.
The person answering the phone at the High School Of American Studies At Lehman College in the Bronx said “absolutely not!” when asked if the school had a gender-neutral bathroom.
Other schools said they couldn’t answer without the permission of the department of education. Several schools noted that they have gender neutral bathrooms for staff but not students.
Obviously this is only a snapshot in one city, but I can’t imagine the situation is very different across the country. How many of your high schools have all-gender bathrooms?
Meet five religious speakers who spread the message to teens that sex is bad and contraception doesn’t work. And they might be coming to a public school near you.

Thanks! It was for a summer program I’m trying to get into and I’m a little sleep deprived (and by a little, I mean a lot), but I think the interview went well!
